How do I know that my order has been placed?

Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the order details including an order number. Please review the information to make sure it’s correct.  Once your order has been shipped out you will receive a tracking number.

I accidentally entered the wrong shipping address, can it be fixed? 

If you notice an error in the shipping address, please reach out to us right away. It is possible to update the shipping address as long as the order has not already shipped. A $17 fee will be charged by FedEx to modify or redirect an order once it has left our facility.

We ship nationwide!

How do you ship? 

We ship via FedEx. For customers on the West Coast we recommend choosing FedEx 3 Day Select to ensure product freshness. Half Sour pickles will not be very green if shipped via FedEx Ground to the West Coast.

When do you ship?

Orders are shipped out Monday through Wednesday. For orders to the West Coast, we recommend selecting FedEx 3 Day Select. If a customer requests shipping to the West Coast via FedEx Ground, those shipments will go out on Mondays only.

Is it ok to send pickles to a warm weather location? 

We pack all of our orders with the freshest products available. If you are ordering Half Sour pickles to be sent to someplace that is warm, especially during the summer months, your pickles will not be very green when they arrive.  Instead, they will be “turned” due to the heat. Turned pickles are perfectly safe to eat and enjoy. We do include ice packs when we ship our products, but please understand that you will not get cucumber-like, bright green pickles if you order Half Sours. Refunds will not be given due to “turned” pickles as there is nothing wrong with the quality.

Do you ship during the summer months?

Depending on the weather, we will continue to ship via FedEx using ice packs and insulated bags. We recommend shipping via FedEx 3 Day Select if you are shipping to the West Coast. We will always make sure the product can sustain the weather before deciding to ship.

How do you pack your containers?

All containers are hand packed. This means the top of the containers are not sealed in such a way that you will always hear a pop sound when you open it. This does not affect the product.

What kind of containers do you use for shipping?  

We use plastic containers for shipping.

How many pickles come in each size container?

It always depends on the size of the cucumbers, however here’s a guide:

  • Quart= about 10
  • Half gallon = about 20
  • Gallon= about 40
What is the shelf life of your products?
  • Pickles- approximately 6-8 weeks (due to the natural fermenting process, pickles will continue to age with time) Note: Half Sour Pickles will “turn” quickly within 5-7 days
  • Olives- up to 3 months in oil, or approximately 6-8 weeks in brine
  • Relish- up to 3 months
  • Most Pickled Condiments- approximately 6-8 weeks
  • Peppadews, Sweet Red Peppers, Roasted Garlic & Roasted Garlic- approximately 4 weeks
Do you have “Garlic Pickles”? 

Our garlic pickles are called Full Sours. These are also sometimes known as “Deli Style” or “Dill”. They taste garlicy and deliciously salty.

What does a Full Sour pickle taste like? 

Full sours taste garlicy and deliciously salty, with a little “punch”. This is a slightly softer style of pickle as it has been in the brine for over 3 months.

What does a Half Sour pickle taste like?

Half Sours taste fresh and crunchy, almost like a cucumber but with a slightly salty taste.  At the farmers markets these pickles are called “New Pickles”.

Yes

Are your products Vegan? 

Yes

Do your products contain nuts?

Because we carry Almond Stuffed Olives, there could be slight traces of nuts in our facility.

Are any of your pickles made with sugar?

Our Sweet Pickle Chips, Sweet Chili Chips, and Sweet Horseradish Chips are all made with sugar.

Are any of your pickles made without vinegar?

Half Sours are made without vinegar.

Is your sauerkraut raw?

Yes. Our sauerkraut is made by fermentation.

Do your products need to be refrigerated? 

Yes, our products should be refrigerated to prolong their shelf life. They are made with natural ingredients and will stay fresher, crisper and crunchier when cold.

My pickles are in a cloudy brine, is that safe? 

Yes, it is safe. We use natural preservatives so cloudiness will occur the longer the pickles sit in the brine. Half Sours tend to have a clearer brine, and Full Sours have a dark muddy brine. Over time the brine will turn. Make sure to keep pickles refrigerated to prolong their shelf life.

How do I return something to you?

At Pickle Licious, we do not accept returns of food products, however, we stand behind our merchandise 100%.

If there is a problem with the quality of a product, please reach out to us immediately at orders@picklelicious.com or at (201) 457-0500. 

Any issues with your order must be brought to our attention within 24 hours of receiving the package.

Note: Products should be refrigerated upon arrival.

What should I do when my order gets damaged in shipping?

Please notify us immediately so we can take the proper steps to replace the damaged merchandise.
